STAR Co-op Advertising Guidelines
NEW 2025 CO-OP MARKETING WITH STAR
Partner with STAR to advertise your business locally and help build our brands! You can utilize your Co-Op Available funds to promote your business and STAR EV with reimbursement on your advertising spending. Your available Co-Op Marketing Dollars will be displayed on your Co-Op Report page within the STAR Dealer Portal. This dollar amount is based on total 2024 car purchases multiplied by $50 per car. It will be calculated each January. For pre-approved marketing campaigns, STAR will credit your account up to 50% of the advertising media costs. Get exposure, get floor traffic, and, of course, get more sales!

- Direct Mail

- Social Media Advertising

- STAR EV Branded Items
APPROVAL CRITERIA
To receive credit for your marketing costs, you must meet the following requirements:
- The ad or item must refer only to your business and STAR EV.
- The ad or item must have the approved and most recent STAR EV logos. These can be found on the Dealer Portal.
- All Invoices must be dated between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
- Submit your request for credit to STAR EV within 45 days of the invoice date for the qualified advertisement.
AVAILABLE ELEMENTS FOR ADVERTISING CREATION
The STAR Dealer Portal contains all the necessary STAR assets to create your advertising. Photos, logos, and graphics are all available. To receive an Advertising Reimbursement, follow these steps:

Determine the advertising you would like to run. The types of marketing you can submit and approval criteria are listed above.
| Prior approval from STAR | After you receive an invoice from your selected vendor, make a digital copy that you can upload to STAR EV along with a digital copy of the advertising you placed. Submit your vendor’s invoice and a copy of the advertising you have done to STAR through the following link: | STAR will issue you an Advertisement Reimbursement that can be used towards parts, cars, accessories, merchandise or a reimbursement check. |
NOTES:
Custom ads that are not approved before publication may not be eligible for credit. You have until December 31, 2025, to use your existing Co-Op credits awarded from 2024. Co-op credits not used by December 31, 2025, will be forfeited. Contact your Business Development Manager if you have any questions.
